Andarus was the God of Light, and polar opposite of Zentarus. His temple upon Thain was to the west of the main road between the southern extreme of the Crossroads and the northern slope of Hammersong Mountain. In it's glory days, the Celestial Temple was manned by a host of divine beings in service to Lord Draxus Ultimax, Andarus's second-in-command. The Celestial Temple also served as home to those mortals chosen by the god himself for having shown they understood his tenets and having lived as he would have his followers live. These chosen were brought into direct service under Draxus and named as Celestial Knights.
The Celestial Temple was destroyed during the Shadow War and was intentionally not rebuilt by the surviving Knights as a reminder to all of the sacrifice their god had made so that none lived under the plague of eternal darkness, as was Zentarus' goal. The ruins are open to all and the Commandments of the Celestial Crusader still stand at the center of that once holy sanctuary their words still upheld by the living Knights:
- Thou shalt kill only in defense of others or ones self.
- Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
- Serve the light above all else.
