Wa'i'lanai, the Aspect of Water
Written by Itarildé Eldurain.

“The island of Thain has known many powers of the divine and infernal. These deities came and passed, so many tragedies and miracle caused the fall of these guardian beings. Yet as one falls another rises to take that place.” — Lady Hayleigh Faldanis-Lightheart, The Lost Gods.

As written by Lady Hayleigh Faldanis-Lightheart, Thain has known many beings of godlike power. After the DarkWet a void was left on Thain, one that was filled by four new divine beings. These beings are known as the Elemental Aspects. Their names, purpose and believes are still a mystery to most. I will dedicate to each a treatise, with information received from their followers and priests.

This treatise is dedicated to Wa'i'lanai, the Aspect of Water and her First Chosen, Wo'i'miko, the High Priestess of Water.

Of all four Aspects, Wa'i'lanai is one that looks upon us most benevolent. She is kind and accepting, one that has a desire to aid and protect. Her element is that of water, from the smallest rain drop to the greatest ocean.

Her domains are those of Goodness, Healing, Water, Protection and Magic.

The Tenants of Water, kindly provided by Slagg Krillian (priest of Wa'i'lanai):

Help others, heal those with a good heart if they are in need and protect the innocent. Be responsible in the use of the Arcane.

In her followers she seeks the desire to aid others, not for personal gain or power, but out of the sheer goodness of their beings. People who are strong in their believes and will, and seek her, only need to continue their good works and in time she will come .

As it currently stands, Wa'i'lanai imposes no rules on how to worship her other then the desire to help, to heal and to save with the favours she grants. Prayers to her can be done at every stream, river or sea for them to be heard by her. As long as there is water near, she will be near.
There is no formal place of worship known, but it is said the most serene place to pray to her is in the Crater Lake, in the pool that is protected by a spirit of the water.
