Adumbral Woods

The Adumbral woods comprise the forested area to the north of hamley and to the west of the road leading to the Northlands. They are infested with spiders, which weave webs between the trees and on the ground, as well as inside the caves. There is a cave to the south that is the home to a nest of phase spiders. Northwards, there is a bridge across a chasm that leads to another cave which is home to more spiders and ettercaps. If you manage to survive it, the cave eventually leads to two exits; one leads to a ledge overlooking the chasm at the entrance, the other leads to less wooded region. Many who set off to venture there did not return.

The dryad Ki-ya calls a tree within the woods her home and is in constant battle with the vermin.
