Nasmat is a human female, approximately in her early thirties for age. The stately woman stands a regal 5'10" in height, form slender and rather willowy in figure. Black hair, the blue-black of a midnight coloration falls straight to her waist, is usually worn tucked behind one ear to keep it from her face. The long silken lockes frame her fair complected features, and offer a nice compliment to the slight bit of kohl worn about her large, thoughtful grey eyes.
Along either side of her face and framing her features, are lockes of white hair that prove a stark contrast to the rest of the inky black tresses. Only those with keen gaze will notice the fine lines formed by stress and wear about her grey eyes.
Her attire is of a formal make and design, well tailored and always of the finest weave. Along her left hand she wears a ring forged of black obsidian that is inlaid with a brillaint green stone, the ring's design stylized in such a way as to represent a black fist closed tightly about green rays. Upon the ring finger of her right hand there is a simple and unadorned band of gold. And only those who manage to draw close to this woman will manage to notice the soft and lingering scents of jasmine and cinnamon about her person.
Pre Thain
Out of Castle Darkhold, comes the dark warrior priestess of Bane. Raised to the temple her entire life, she carries that zealous devotion forward to her new assignment. To travel to the island called Thain, to spead the word and will of her Lord by any means necessary.

Ascension to High Priestess
The Tormite Paladin and member of the CDF, Gabriel Thalion had long been a thorn in her side. From their first encounter, there was clear tension in the air. Tension that would only grow as the Tormite paladin would attempt to break through Nasmat's cold exterior. Yet it was the slap across the face that finally crossed the line for the priestess, pride and Bane would tolerate no further dishonor, and she decided to seek out a resolution.
Catching the paladin on patrol of the Rooms of Ruin, an ambush quickly bested the young Tormite. The battle was ended before it had begun, Gabriel laid low at her feet. Yet in this, the lesson was just getting started. A ship whisked the paladin away under the cover of darkness, back to the fortress known as Castle Darkhold.
There at Bane's altar, the priestess sacrificed Gabriel to the Black Hand. As the blood of one of Bane's long riviled foes stained the altar, Nasmat rose to the rank and honor of High Priestess. With the paladin removed, she then returned to the island of Thain to continue promoting her Lord's will.

Current
There are many rumors and stories in regards to Nasmat and her activities on Thain. A constant scrutiny falls upon the servant of the Black Hand, and eyes turn with an even greater focus towards Bane's High Priestess given the recent events surrounding her name. Rumors circle the island from a speculation of murders being carried out under the name of the Black Hand, whispers of demons being unleashed, tales of explosions against those who rouse her ire, to that of bargains between herself and a devil prince.
It is finally confirmed she belongs to the Zhentarim, a notorious group dedicated to bringing the world under their dominion. The opening of The Ebon Connection, a trading post in Raven's Watch, would result in an open declaration of her affiliations.
Regardless of the evidence, or lack thereof, it still does not stop would be heroes from attempting to remove the Banite Witch from existence. Yet thus far the blessings of the Black Hand have proved to be far more than the forces of light have bargained for and the warrior priestess continues to endure and flourish upon the island.
