Sandburrow Bay

Sandburrow Bay is the newly constructed home of the island's halfling and gnome population. It is located in the south, near the-cobblewall, just south of hammersong. Its mayor is Peragrin Greenleaf. It is the second Shire, the first being davenshire, which was destroyed by the Thayans, sparking a conflict known as the war-of-the-ridgeshield. Like its predecessor, Sandburrow Bay thrives on agriculture and trade, being a trade port. The village is also notable for its use of gnomish devices, many designed by dampf-feuer. The populace enjoys a friendly trade relationship with the nearby dwarves of Hammersong.
