Sandburrow Bay
Sandburrow Bay is the newly constructed home of the island's halfling and gnome population. It is located in the south, near Cobblewall, just south of Hammersong. Its mayor is Peragrin Greenleaf. It is the second Shire, the first being Davenshire, which was destroyed by the Thayans, sparking a conflict known as the War of the Ridgeshield. Like its predecessor, Sandburrow Bay thrives on agriculture and trade, being a trade port. The village is also notable for its use of gnomish devices, many designed by Dampf Feuer. The populace enjoys a friendly trade relationship with the nearby dwarves of Hammersong.
