War: its always there, and after all, it's the reason why these new beings came about. Fighting off the invasion of evil forces the good that remained within the shadows coalesced itself in the form of Vorel, which in the draconic tongue means "beautiful". Her form is the representation of a copper dragon, or in some cases a beautiful copper toned maiden with horns atop her head and sparkling copper plate.
Being nothing but a form of good at first, and in trying to escape from the vile shadows that lurked below, she was able to force herself out of the seal, at least enough to place her in another one. In doing so she took shelter for the longest time in a bed of copper under the mountainous region of Thain. Staying in this location over time, the ore started to form into the shape of a copper egg around her. Only now, with the growing tension between good and evil did the 'egg' crack, and in doing so released the goddess once again.
She gains her strength from battle, but like every battle there is a beauty behind it, and a song to be told. Because of her making being the mystery that it is, she is also, like so many other copper dragons, known for riddles. Vorel, having had her own struggle for freedom, is often an unseen force aiding those that are imprisoned, to be once again freed.
Vorel died alongside the other old gods at the end of The Shadow War.
